WHAT TO EXPECT from your Signature Maternity Session

01. BEFORE THE SESSION

Planning: Upon booking, I send over a confirmation email that includes a short form for you to fill out to help me get to know your family. I guide each session to give custom touches, while still providing my simple & organic style.

Styling: You will have access to the studio wardrobe for the entire family, and the option to schedule a styling appointment.

Flexibility: I accept reschedule requests up to one hour before your session for any reason. I also accept and even recommend reschedules for outside sessions with anything less than ideal weather circumstances. I want every session to be set for the most perfect session possible.

02. DURING the SESSION

Hair & makeup: You will have the option to have professional makeup & done for the day of your session. I work very closely with a makeup artist that conveniently comes to the studio for in-studio sessions.

The session: Through natural settings, pure light and a child lead session, your family’s love and connection are the focus. I am passionate about providing an exceptional experience, especially during your session. I do not time my sessions, however Signature sessions typically land around 1 hour long.

03. AFTER THE SESSION

Proofing gallery: I create a proof gallery of lightly retouched images for you to view within 2-3 days of your session. I enjoy creating a beautiful proof gallery you can view from the comfort of your home. You can expect 50+ images in your proof gallery. My clients love getting to choose the images they want from their proof gallery. Once your image selections are made, I do ask for 1-2 weeks for the final touches on your images.

04. Heirloom artwoRk

I believe memories deserve to live on walls and to be enjoyed everyday as art in your home. The studio offers a beautiful collection of products including gorgeous albums and professional framing. To ensure you have access to beautiful products for your new images, you will have the option to do an in studio design & ordering appointment.

A $300 deposit is due upon booking. The remaining balance of $600 is due after viewing your proof gallery and includes 25 images of your choice with the option to purchase more, including products.

I do offer the First Year Membership, which includes Maternity, Newborn, Sitter (baby is around 6-7 months), and One Year. This is best way to ensure you get the most popular milestones consistently captured throughout your little’s first year.

A proofing gallery consists of lightly retouched images, that also include the studio watermark. Proofs are viewable, but not downloadable. I do not release proof images digitally. The amount of images in a proof gallery vary session to session, but are typically around 50 images. (less for Simplicity Sessions)

Your proof gallery will be available in about 2-3 days after your session. Proof galleries are sent via email, and are available in an online gallery.

I recommend maternity sessions land around 27-35 weeks, when your baby bmp is visibly showing. To ensure I have availability, it’s best to reach out once your second trimester has started.

My mission is to care for the tiniest details with the intention of giving each client a luxury experience from start to finish.

I’m a low volume photographer, meaning I typically only do one session a day. You can learn more about how being a low volume photographer allows me to give the best experience as possible, along with some important perks of flexibility to my clients HERE.

Final images are typically finalized and available to download in 1-2 weeks from the time you place your image order.

Yes, you will have access from your online gallery to order prints from a professional, exclusive printer that offers lustre, deep matte, and fine art prints.

You will also receive a print release with your final gallery. So you will also have the option to select another printer of your choice.

Yes, the studio offers a collection of heirloom keepsakes such as album, professional framed prints (complimentary design services included with both), and custom print boxes. All products are available to see in the studio.
